STARS

 At about 1:39am to about 2:00am, I stood outside the house.  I looked up and there before my eyes, the most beautiful sight. 

The stars in their beauty came out to shine today. I've been taken by their beauty for a long time. So when I came out and saw them all over the sky I was excited. There was no noise, just quietness and peace. I stood there and appreciated the wonders of God.

As I stood outside and watched the stars, I started reflecting on how God created each and everyone of them. The amazing part is this - He knows them by name. Each and everyone of them. 

The stars were all over. From one end to the other. One cannot fully see where they start or where they end. God put them in their right places and He knows each and everyone of them. That's how all powerful He is. He created such beauty. To shine and  give light even in the darkness. 

Just as He knows the stars by name and everything about them, He knows your name as well. The population of Earth is in the billions and yet God knows each one of us by name and everything about us. How cool is that? No human, no matter how brilliant could ever know all the names, and what each person is made of or what he/she is feeling at that very instance. 

We have an all powerful God who is all knowing. 

He knows you by name. He knows everything you are going through. Your fears, your heartaches, pain, worry, anxiety, joys, excitement - just everything. 

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you..." Jeremiah 1:5

Even before you were born He knew you would be born, even at this very moment He knew you would  read this. (LoL) How great and mighty is He.

You may feel insignificant and say that God does not care about you or love you. You may feel like God doesn't listen to you anymore. You may feel deserted but I can assure you of this; that He who placed the stars in the sky and knows them by name, He knows your name and He is in love with you. 

This is His promise because He loves you and knows you:

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you..." Isaiah 43:2 

God loves you, it doesn't matter what you have done, like the prodigal son, He welcomes all who will come back to Him with open arms.

He who created the stars in the vast sky, knows your name and is in love with you.
